Whinny

Hello there! I'm Whinny, the pony with the big job around here! Before I came to Speaking of Horses, I was a fancy show pony in Florida, but I quit that glamorous life when I realized my true calling was being absolutely adored by children instead of judges. Much better career move!
I'm known as the most patient pony you'll ever meet. Loud noises? I pretend they're applause for my awesomeness! Sudden movements? Please, I've seen it all—nothing surprises a pony who once had a tree fall behind him during a therapy session! (True story!)
My favorite things are: crunchy carrots (the crunchier, the better—I have very high produce standards), being brushed exactly 47 times on each side (I'm counting, trust me), and pretending I don't understand when it's time to go back to the field after treats. My special talent is standing so still during mounting that people sometimes check if I'm still breathing. I am! Just being professional!
When you visit, remember that I might look small, but that's just because I'm concentrated awesome. As we say in the pony world: "The shorter the legs, the bigger the heart!"
